Japanese Kukicha Green Tea
Kukicha is a japanese green tea which is extremely low in caffeine. This is a favorite of vegans and the preferred substitute drink for coffee for people on macrobiotic diet.
It means "twig tea". This tea is inexpensive, yet wonderfully satisfying when brewed correctly.
The good news is that this japanes green tea is not a complex tea. Its toastiness is attractively simple and forthright, which makes it a popular substitute for coffee.
And beware, this tea leaves a delicate sensation on the roof of your mouth, it's hard to resist.
It can be serve hot or cold, either one can make a good coffee substitute.
Brewing Kukicha Tea

1) Measure 3 tablespoons of loose tea into an infusion basket.
2) Boil water between 190 degrees to 210 degrees Farhenheit then pour the water into the teapot.
3) Set the timer for 3 to 5 minutes. You can then decide the strength of tea you'd like. Adjust the time per your preference.
4) When the timer sounds, remove the infusion basket and pour the tea into cups.
