How Else Can You Use Green Tea?

Green tea is not just for drinking or cooking, it can be used for a LOT of things:

~ cleans any washable surfaces such as yoga mats and air mattresses

~ place used green tea leaves to diffuse odors in litter boxes, helps deter fleas from both cats and dogs

~ sprinkle dried used green tea leaves on your pet's pillow or bed and anywhere pet odors occur giving your dog a more pleasant smell

~ place used teabags or leaves in a small bowl, uncovered, in your refrigerator to help absorb odors from onions and garlic for about three days. After that, sprinkle the old leaves aroudn your ferns, rosebushes, or other plants

~ rub your hands with wet green tea leaves to remove any fish or garlic oils from your hands

~ deodorizes and cleans your pots and pans you used to cook fish or garlic

~ pour leftover green tea directly into the pot of your favorite houseplants. Layer the top of the pots with the wet, used leaves, and let them rot naturally into the dirt, regenerating it better than any commercial plant food you can buy

~ put some dried green tea leaves in a fireproof container with a match, and set outside where mosquitoes or flies congregate - a wonderful insect repellent. The smoke from the burning leaves will smell pleasant to you, but not to the bugs

~ excellent to deter moths by placing sachets in your drawers or tie sachets with a ribbon and wrap around hangers to protect your clothes

~ put your green tea into ice cube trays to make green tea ice cubes. Add them to fruit juices or just to make an iced green tea

~ spread dry green tea leaves all over the rug, rub in gently, and brush off thoroughly then vacuum as usual. Your carpet will not only be cleaner but will smell fresher too.
