Green Tea and Cholesterol

Green tea and cholesterol research studies proved the amazing health benefit of green tea.

Researchers discovered that four to five cups of tea a day light help reduce both high cholesterol and high blood pressure.

British scientists suggests from this study that the green tea ingredients such as flavonoids, vitamins C and E work against free radical damage to cells, and against oxidation of blood cholesterol - one of the main risk factors of heart disease.

Green tea has been found to work not only in reducing LDL-cholesterol oxidation but also in lowering overall blood cholesterol levels.

The positive antioxidants protect LDL's from oxidation and protect the artery walls from damage.
